The department of angiology offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services covering the full spectrum of vascular diseases. Dr Ammann specialises in the diagnosis and management of poor circulation to the legs and the abdominal organs, carotid artery disease, peripheral and aortic aneurysms, and venous diseases. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care, using the newest technology and most minimally invasive techniques. Further services include endovascular treatment options for varicose veins in an outpatient setting and interdisciplinary angiodysplasia consultations. Research focuses on peripheral arterial occlusive disease and microcirculation.
